HAPPY CANADA DAY :) FOR EVERYONE NORTH OF THE BORDER...
Let me see ONE YEAR AGO THIS WEEK :) I believe I was in St Louis for the BIG fireworks display there, not sure where I am going this year. Maybe down to Nashville, maybe St Louis, maybe neither :P guess I should decide. :) I have never been to the Nashville fireworks, I heard they are nice. Would be hard to beat St Louis though. :) I should have gone to New York or D.C. I know they have a huge fireworks displays. Anyway, I will figure it out. :) Need to find my MOTHER helllllooo you out there :) We keep missing each other, either on the phone or otherwise. I think she probably thinks I have disappeared or something. :) Besides that what else is new - David is coming down on July 16th for the big move, he will be here for about a week or so then we are going to Europe. YAY :) I guess I will finally make my way over there, after backing out a couple of times. It is a long flight you know ") lots of water, ocean, under the plane. Watching Spiderman Friday Night with my nephew, sounds fun. :) I liked the first movie, so hopefully this one will be good. Actually I saw the first one on my birthday, two years ago I guess in Toronto. :) Different world...then.

Madrid bombers planned to hit British school,
say police The Anglo-Spanish Brains nursery and primary school looked an unlikely al-Qa'eda target yesterday, yet Spanish police said it had been marked for destruction by the terrorist cell responsible for the Madrid commuter train atrocity. Only the squad's collective suicide as police closed in may have prevented an outrage at Brains. Thousands of children attend British schools throughout Europe but the Foreign Office said yesterday its advice for pupils and parents had not changed. Yesterday, a few children were running around the elaborate climbing frame and play house in the sand-filled courtyard at Brains. The building offers a pathetically soft target. Brains, which teaches half its classes in English, is in the smart Madrid suburb of La Moraleja. The area is a wealthy cluster of large homes, well served by private schools and expensive shops. Residents include several Real Madrid footballers and David Beckham looked for a house there when he arrived last year. In documents delivered to parliament on Wednesday Spanish investigators said the names of Brains, a Jewish children's camp and a Jewish Hotel were found among papers at a flat used by the terrorists who bombed four commuter trains in Madrid on March 11, killing 190 people. There are several schools on the same street as Brains. Summer term ended last week but the school stays open throughout July as a service to its busy parents. During term time the street is choked twice a day with school buses and parents dropping off their children. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Europe put on notice...
Group Warns Europe of More Terror Attacks CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- The group that claimed responsibility for deadly train bombings in Spain warned European nations that they have only two weeks to withdraw troops from Iraq or face the consequences, a pan-Arab newspaper reported Friday. The statement, carried by the Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, referred to the three-month cease-fire for attacks in Europe declared by al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden on April 15. The London-based paper said it had received a statement from the Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri (al-Qaida), the group that claimed responsibility for the March 11 Madrid train bombings that killed about 200 people. "To the European people: Only a few days remain for you to accept the truce offered by bin Laden. Otherwise you will have nobody but yourself to blame," the paper quoted the statement as saying.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Truth About 'Fahrenheit 9/11' Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" broke records this weekend, becoming the first documentary (not) to debut as Hollywood's top weekend film — but there are holes in the controversial film's story. For instance, in one often-showed clip, Moore claims that President Bush was on vacation 42 percent of the time during his first several months in office — but that estimation included weekends at Camp David, a common practice for presidents. Without those days figured in, Bush actually spent 13 percent (MOORE IS A LIAR) of his time on vacation. The movie also criticizes Bush for staying inside a Florida classroom full of kids for a full seven minutes after he learned that the country was under attack on Sept. 11, 2001. (WHAT WAS BUSH SUPPOSED TO DO RUN OUT SCREAMING IN FRONT OF A BUNCH OF LITTLE KIDS???? - HIS REACTION WAS MEASURED AND EXACTLY WHAT IT SHOULD OF BEEN AT THE TIME...ANY IDIOT CAN SEE THAT) However, the vice chairman of the Sept. 11 commission has said that Bush did the right thing. "Bush made the right decision in remaining calm, in not rushing out of the classroom," said Lee Hamilton, a former Democratic congressman from Indiana. In "Fahrenheit 9/11" Moore also claims that the White House approved plans for planes to pick up relatives of Usama Bin Laden right after the attacks. But according to terrorism czar Richard Clarke, he alone approved the Saudi flights. (ONCE AGAIN WE HAVE MOORE THE LIAR)In addition, Moore says that the departing Saudis were not properly processed by the FBI when leaving the country. That too is contradicted by the Sept. 11 commission, which said the Saudis were properly interviewed. Finally, Moore shows prominent members of the Taliban visiting Texas, implying that they were invited by then-Governor Bush. The Taliban delegation, however, was invited to Houston by UNOCAL, a California energy company. Moore also doesn't mention that the visit was made with the permission of the Clinton administration, which twice met with Taliban members — in 1997 and 1998.fox news ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OK OFF SOAP BOX :) back to normal programming now
