Sue Henry arrives...she is the head of the
Paducah/McCracken County Chapter.
They are actually all one chapter...but
we have different counties to cover.

Caeser and other volunteers arrive with
lunch from Martha's Vinyard.  Martha's
Vinyard is a local charity that feeds the

also provide lots of food during local disasters.

Smithland Fire and Rescue personnel and volunteers sit down
to eat lunch.  They have been sand bagging all morning and
finishing up the levee.  Light snow has been falling all morning.

Brent Stringer (DES) gives a disaster briefing.  He is discussing the
crest forecasts and what everyone can expect over the next four
days.  Everything sounds really good at this point.  The river should
crest on Monday night and remain at that level through Wednesday
morning.  A slow fall should start after that.  There could be
additional crests if more water is released than expected from other
areas upstream.

Brent and Pat...they have worked very hard this week to keep
everything in check.  Long hours and little sleep.
