Cleaning and more cleaning. :) I have
no idea how I am going to get rid of all the trash bags
in my garage! I guess a few at a time. I
don't believe the trash company would appreciate all of
them at once! Anyway...making a lot of headway.
I have one big room to go and that is the little attic
behind the bookshelves. That is best left for a
cooler day. Maybe this fall! Otherwise I am
almost finished with all the rooms.
I have a lot of stuff that is heading for a yard sale.
HOT HOT HOT HOT outside. Yucky
weather. One thing about today is the humidity
seems to be a lot higher. So it feels muggy out.
Still no key for the safe...I have no idea where it
is! I am afraid we won't find it. Perhaps I
can call the company and try and get another one?
Not ever sure they will send me one! Something to
work on I guess.
Have left the homework for a few days...it was
driving me nuts. Finished all of it - now I need
to review it. My first big test is a few weeks
away.
So I feel like a new person. I don't know why.
It is weird. I really think your possessions
somehow own you. They seem to be a weight on your
shoulder. Just knowing that there is so much
"stuff: in the closets, under the bed, in the drawers.
Stuff that isn't even used. It is crazy how fast
possessions accumulate. Anyway I am definitely
changing the way I live. Not sure where that will
lead. Right now it means downsizing and getting
rid of items I just don't use anymore. THEN not
adding anything back into the house. I don't need
anything...so why buy anything. Coins, maybe some
books, camera equipment - stuff like that is fine.
Anything else - forget it. So tired of "stuff"
being everywhere!
I think this is a good change!!!!
Lots of trash!
My two most energetic times of the year are Spring
and Fall! We are not even to fall yet and I am
already full of energy. Yeesh what am I going to
do this fall with all my extra energy!
No word from Kristy. Getting a little bit
concerned. :) I know Drew has been sick.
So SOS Kristy - hope you are okay down there.
The Rape Crisis Center says they are not out of teddy
bears yet. So that is good. Just waiting to
hear from ChildWatch. Will see how they are doing.
Glad to hear the Rape Crisis Center isn't out of bears.
That is a good thing! That means they have had
less cases.
Leaving for Canada in less than 2 weeks.
Probably going to head for David's around September 11th
- give or take a day or so. Joey is having his
wisdom teeth out - so I need to be around for that of
course! I will be up there a couple of weeks and
then back home. By that time SURELY the rains will
have returned and it will be cooler???????? If not
then I give up! lol
Sure hope we don't go into the fall fire season
without some moisture.
Looks like we are going to close out August with less
than 0.10" of rain here in Lone Oak. NEVER seen
anything like that before. Incredible.
Had a nice lunch today with Tracie from the Red
Cross. We went to Whalers. :) It was
fun to catch up on everything. She is keeping busy
down at the Red Cross. Maybe too busy? :)
Lots going on. I think we need about 10 more
volunteers!!
OKay back to work! |
