Okay so I have come to the conclusion that it is lonely without one of my close friends around. Not only lonely but sort of sad. The feelings don't get any less as time passes...if anything they get stronger. How can you miss someone so much? Wouldn't you eventually start to go the other way and get used to not hearing or seeing them? Apparently not. But what can one do...I can't make someone talk. I can't make someone do anything...nor should I. If one person doesn't want something then it isn't going to be. Sigh...I hate these feelings though. Part of me just wants to go up there and the other part of me thinks that is a bad idea. So I am torn. blah Nobody wants to hear it of course...I stopped talking about all of this a long time ago. I had to...not for my sanity (well maybe partly for my sanity) but more for everyone else's. I know people get tired of listening to it. So I will just write how I feel here. I think the bottom line is that I am sad over all of this. I guess one can't force oneself not to love someone else...nor should they. It is just frustrating.

On to other subjects...

The lack of weather is driving me insane. We have not had hardly any rain this past month. I believe it rained twice at my house. THAT IS PATHETIC for the Month of May. PATHETIC. GRRRRR

Drought this summer? We are already in a short term drought. Doesn't look like it is going to get any better. Tropical systems could help this region. Not sure beyond that. Hope for a pattern change in June.

Met up with Julie, Danny, and Julies mom this evening. We all went to see Shrek! Always good to see them. I don't think we see each other enough. The movie was good. I like the first one the best though. It seems to be a summer of sequels. I guess we can live with that.
