Kyoto, Japan - the surrounding hillsides - Zen Gardens - Temples

One of the many hillsides that surround and make up Kyoto, Japan.  Peaceful comes to mind.  
There are many locations like this.  Beautiful spring in this city.

down the hillside.

Bamboo Plants sprout up out of the ground and grow like weeds.  They have to try and control them
so they don't get out of hand.  Really neat to see them in person.  They are extremely tall for a 
plant.

There are so many wonderful plants and flowers.  The air is constantly filled with the aroma of flowers.  It is truly incredible and beautiful.

We are having a great time here in Kyoto.  I miss everyone back home and I am thinking about all of those people that were hit by the tornadoes.  I am at a loss
as to why so many people were killed and injured.  The tornadoes must have been very strong.  I am waiting to find out more information about what
happened.  Tomorrow is our last day in Kyoto.  We will be leaving for Tokyo tomorrow evening.  We will be taking the train to the city.  We will be in Tokyo
through the weekend.  Tokyo will be a much "faster" pace than Kyoto.

SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK LIKELY ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK ACROSS THE PLAINS AND INTO THE OHIO VALLEY.
ANOTHER TORNADO OUTBREAK IS VERY POSSIBLE.
