:) BEAUTIFUL CITY - BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE HOTEL!
Looking out over the Mediterranean Sea
Tel Aviv! Looking northeast from the
hotel.
There was a big street party going on in Tel Aviv today. Lots of music and dancing. We had fun just walking around and taking in all of the sites! Tel Aviv is an awesome place. It is totally different from Jerusalem. Funny how that happens like that! Lots of beautiful people here as well!

Street Dancers in Tel Aviv - Friday Morning
Friday Evening
What a wonderful day in Tel Aviv. We were able to take in so many sights and sounds! This is an incredible city. So many flavors. It is totally different than anywhere else we have been so far in the Middle East! I love it :) The sea waves crashing ashore. I love the water. I love to listen to the rhythm of the water as it comes ashore. I don't think I could ever get tired of that sound!
We went to see Star Wars this evening. It was a great movie! I didn't think I would get to say that I watched Star Wars in Israel! lol :) That is about as good as seeing Lord of the Rings in New York City!
Definitely a good movie and worth
seeing. I think the first one is still my favorite though.

Nice few days here in Tel Aviv. The sun is always shining here! No rain to speak of. It is the dry season I guess.
We leave on a plane for Toronto tonight. Should arrive in Canada tomorrow morning at around 9 a.m. The plane ride is about 14 hours.
Zoom Zoom and God Speed!
Still some photographs to post from Jordan and Israel. I will work on those in the coming days :)
Here is David buying tea at the Damascus Gate (Old Jerusalem.) - Sorry the picture didn't turn out so good. Needed more light.

Petra was an interesting place. The history there is just amazing. David has wanted to see this area for years. He finally got his chance! It was a lot of walking under the hot sun. We survived though. We had a great tour guide. I sure do miss all those meals from the Middle East! Lot of good eating! I think we had just as much fun figuring out what we were eating as eating the food itself.
I had a blast!!!!!!
Defin want to return to some of these areas.

Stormy morning here in Paducah. Lightning and thunder rolling through the county. Nothing severe but some much needed rain. Looks like we may have the potential for a tropical storm later this weekend - this storm should form in the Gulf of Mexico and move towards the north. This could bring flooding to many areas. Will be keeping an eye on that one!
Trying to get things caught up around the house here. Busy Busy :)
